Dr. Y. James Kang is the Chief Scientist of Tasly Stem Cell Biology Laboratory in Tianjin; and Professor and Director of Regenerative Medicine Research Center at Sichuan University West China Hospital in Chengdu, China. He also is the Founder and President of Innolife Inc, focusing on developing strategies for regression of aging and degenerative organ systems. He was Distinguished University Professor at University of Louisville (1996-2018), and elected Fellow of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences. His research interests are in regenerative medicine, focusing on stem cell rejuvenation of organ systems, as well as dietary manipulation of cardiovascular disease, and non-human primate models for human diseases.

Dr. Bernard Binetruy is Research Director at Inserm (French governmental agency for medical research). 1980: Master in biochemistry and physiology at the University of Nice.1981-1988: PhD student (1981-1982), then INSERM researcher (1983-1988) at the Centre de Biochimie, Nice (scientifc director Dr F. Cuzin). My research was focused on the oncogenic properties of the Bovine Papilloma Virus type1 (BPV1) in rat embryo fibroblasts.post-doc fellow in the laboratory of Dr M. During my stay in San Diego I showed that the Ras oncogene augments cJun activity and stimulates phosphorylation of its activation domain and that oncogenic and transcriptional cooperation with Ha-Ras requires phosphorylation of cJun on serines 63 and 73. This work led to the identification and the characterisation, two years later, by the laboratory of M. Karin of the JNK signal transduction pathway.

Professor Ahmed Hashash has completed his PhD from Manchester University, UK. He was a fellow of the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) and New York University Medical School (MSSM), USA. Prof. Ahmed Hashash worked as a senior biomedical research scientist at Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.In August 2022, Prof. Hashash has joined Texas A &M University as Associate Professor of Biomedicine. From Jan 2017 to June 2022, Prof. Hashash joined the University of Edinburgh (UK)-Zhejiang Intl. campus, as Associate Professor of Biomedicine. Prof. Hashash has several studies and publications on the genes/enzymes that control stem cell behavior and regenerative medicine. He has published more than 34 papers in reputed international journals and serving as an editorial board member of repute, in addition to over 17 book chapters. Dr. Khue Vu Nguyen (born in Ha Noi, Viet Nam) is currently Visiting Professor in the School of Medical Imaging, Jiangsu Vocational College of Medicine, Yancheng 224005 Jiangsu, China, and collaborating for research work with the Centre for Molecular Biophysics from Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, CNRS, at Orleans, 45071 Orleans, France. He was Full Project Scientist in the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics, University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine, San Diego, California 92103, U.S.A. He has worked as Scientist in different French and U.S. Research Institutions and Companies. In 2003 he was selected as a member of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, working with Professor Henning Hopf in TU Braunschweig - Germany. Since then numerous return fellowships were granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. And he received his Bachelor's degree ( LLB ) from the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China, and Doctor of Medicine ( MD ) from the China Medical University in Taiwan, China.
